Seen Her? Teen Girl Last Spotted Leaving For School In Boston

Police in Boston are asking for the public's help in looking for a teenager who went missing when she left home for school.

Tashara Devoe-Bowman, 17, of Roxbury, was last seen on Tuesday, Jan. 9, at 6:30 a.m., when she went to the Greater Egleston Academy at 80 School Street in Jamaica Plain, Boston police said.

She hasn’t been seen since.

Tashara, who suffers from depression, is described as being 5 feet tall, weighing around 150 pounds, having brown eyes, a medium build with dark, straight brown hair to her shoulders, but it may be in a ponytail.

She usually wears a knee-length Ralph Lauren navy blue jacket with brown fur on the hood, but police aren't sure if she was wearing it when she vanished. 

Police ask anyone with information about Tashara’s whereabouts to contact 911 or B-2 Detectives at (617) 343-4275.
